JOZEF MIELKE is a skilled craftsman of the 'old school'. His elaborate hand-wrought metal work for house and garden has been attracting attention for several years. His work is displayed in commercial and residential settings across North America and he has been interviewed and featured several times in local newspapers and on television.

Jozef's 45 years of experience originates from his homeland of Poland where at age 14 he started working in his town's blacksmith shop. He immigrated with his wife and daughter to Canada in 1992 and immediately found his Blacksmithing skills in great demand. These skills incorporate a combination of traditional and modern hand forging techniques to create custom wrought iron pieces.

After extensive commercial experience, Jozef decided to step out on his own and create his personalized artistic expressions in metal. Jozef began his business by working one-on-one with his clients, simply by filling custom orders of those people that came searching for his Blacksmithing ability. It did not take long for word of Jozef's venture to reach the public. As desire for his creations increased, the decision was made to expand his business into the retail market. Jozef is commissioned on a regular basis to create unique, one of a kind hand-forged iron works, as well as supplying his showroom with a wide variety of metal art pieces, designed by himself and with input from his customers.
